Privacy Policy

Who we are

HoardPrime is a personal project — a collection catalog tool for collectors. It is currently in early beta. There is no company behind it, only an individual operator.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address — for login, password reset, and notifications
• Display name — a public-facing name you choose, visible to other users when you make items public
• Optional contact line — public text you can use to share a preferred contact method (Discord, etc.)
• Items you add — names, categories, photos, condition, value, notes, anything else you enter
• Activity — interest signals, login times, basic action logs for security purposes

What's private vs public

Items default to private — only you can see them. You choose, per-item, whether to make an item public for others to discover.

Even for public items, your cost basis (what you paid, acquisition costs) is never shown to other users.

Your email address is never shown to other users.

How we store your data

Data is stored on Supabase, a hosted Postgres database provider. Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Your password is hashed before storage — even the operator cannot see it.

Backups

The operator may take periodic backups of the database for disaster recovery. These backups are stored separately and accessed only when restoring after data loss.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to anyone
• We don't run ads
• We don't track you across other websites
• We don't process payments — there's no purchase data to collect
• We don't share information with third parties except as needed to operate the service (e.g., Supabase as our database provider)

Your rights

You can:

• Export your data — contact the operator to request a JSON export of everything you've stored
• Delete your account — contact the operator. Your account and items will be removed within 30 days. Note: items you've made public may be cached briefly elsewhere.
• Correct your data — edit items, profile, etc. directly in the app at any time

Children

HoardPrime is not intended for users under 13. Don't create an account if you're under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll notify users via email and update the "Last updated" date.
